2020

A set of pioneering companies initiates the
Catena-X Automotive Network.

December 2020

The network is formally announced by
the German government at its digital summit.

May 2021

The association Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. is founded as a legal organization and steward of the Catena-X brand.

January 2023

Cofinity-X GmbH is founded as a joint venture between BASF, BMW Group, Henkel, Mercedes-Benz, SAP, Schaeffler, Siemens, T-Systems, Volkswagen and ZF.

October 2023

What began as a vision becomes reality:
the Cofinity-X portal andmarketplace are live.

April 2024

Go-live of the app Golden Record to enhance and streamline the accuracy of business partner data in alignment with Catena-X standards.
